Car Detailing in Shoreham-by-Sea

Shoreham-by-Sea sits between Brighton and Worthing, a short run along the coast for our mobile unit. We cover the town centre, Shoreham Beach, Southwick, Kingston Buci and Lancing, and work at your home with our own water and power.

Fallout, tar and busy roads

Cars around Shoreham pick up more than ordinary road dirt. The A27, the A259 and the railway line through the town all shed tiny particles of iron and tar that bond to paint and wheels. They are often invisible until you run a hand across the bodywork and find it feels rough rather than smooth.

A normal wash will not shift bonded contamination. We use dedicated iron fallout and tar removers, followed by a clay treatment where needed, to bring the surface back to a glass-smooth finish. It is worth doing on its own, and it is essential before any polishing or coating.

Ready for correction and coating

Once the paint is clean and decontaminated, we can assess it properly. Light swirls and haze can usually be improved with a single-stage polish, while deeper defects need a more involved correction. Following that with a ceramic coating keeps the finish protected and makes future fallout far easier to wash away.

Shoreham questions

What is iron fallout?

Tiny metal particles, mostly from brake discs and railway lines, that land on a car and embed themselves in the paint. Left alone they can rust in place and show up as small orange specks, especially on lighter colours.

Can you detail my car at work rather than at home?

Possibly, if your workplace is happy for us to be there and there is room for the van beside the car. Let us know the address when you enquire and we will check that it works.
